Low strawberry and raspberry harvest in Spain

In Huelva, the region of berry cultivation in Spain, they face a 10 to 15% less quantity on strawberry and raspberry as in 2024. Cloudy and rainy days in the past weeks are not in favour for the fruits. While demand is high, prices will go up due to these lower availibility. Producers are rather prefering continuity rather than fluctuations. The situation will not get better in the coming period due to expected rainfall and less sunshine as in previous years.
