The Spanish season for citrus fruits as clementines is well started. It seems there is enough available and pricing is good. Quality is excellent though. This year the season started later due to the heat. Clementines and oranges colour in the night when temperatures are dropping and when it’s really hot during day the temperatures are less dropping resulting in a longer time they need to get their orange colour.
Besides this the demand for early peelers is significant higher. This variety is easy to peel but are a bit smaller.
