While we mostly enjoy European cherries, more and more cherries from Chile are entering the EU. However expectations were quite high, the total quantities available are disappointing. Nature decided that a part of the crop was lost and also there were logistic issues with shipping them. The export of this year’s crop is less as the year before. Prices were also not interesting to offer it besides the Polish or Serbian varieties which stay the most popular.
